Prideview Cricketers' Cup 2015

The 4th edition of The Prideview Cricketers’ Cup (PCC), contested on Saturday 18th July ’15, was a tremendous success, receiving the stamp of authority from Lord Patel and Kiran More, two heavyweights from the ECB (English Cricket Board) and BCCI (Board of Control of Cricket in India) respectively.

This event was a massive success, once again, raising a fantastic £14,480. In total, 12 teams participated scoring 1,530 runs in 18 games at an average economy rate of 9.3 runs per over with 71 wickets being taken and 35 sixes being smashed! The group’s were drawn out of a hat live on social media just a week before and all seemed to provide even contests.

A massive thank you to the Prideview Group for choosing Big Hug Foundation as their Charity of the Year for 2015. Thank you also to all participants, donors and sponsors as well as Big Hug’s volunteers on the day for this fantastic effort! To view the full event report please click here

Hear from a Big Hug Sponsor

"I found that the young founder, Natasha Mansigani to be highly professional and dynamic and was blown away by her purpose to make a difference at such a tender age herself. The level of attention and communication from Natasha is first class and I was encouraged by her desire to act and set up the Big Hug Foundation. I wish her and the foundation continued success and will continue to support their sponsor a child scheme."
